Victoria L. Kearns, LVT, CCRP, NCM, OACM
(Pet Physical Rehabilitator)

Education: University of Tennessee

Taking care of animals has always been an important part of Victoria’s life. During High School, Victoria attended a Vocational Veterinary Science class where she had the opportunity to shadow a large rehabilitation department. This experience solidified in her mind, her true calling, to help injured and elderly animals become more comfortable and regain their mobility.

Victoria’s formal education began at the State University of New York at Delhi in the Veterinary Technician program where she graduated with a Degree in Applied Science in May, 2007. Upon graduation, Victoria worked as a Veterinary Technician at a local small animal hospital. In December, 2009 Victoria graduated from the University of Tennessee as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. In 2015, she completed the University of Tennessee’s Nutritional Case Manager Program to further aid in her patient’s recovery. Victoria followed her passion and from 2008 to early 2016, Victoria directed a large specialty hospital’s Rehabilitation Department where she oversaw all of the daily aspects conducted in the department as well as performing physical rehabilitation on patients.

In a remarkable testament to her commitment to her field of expertise, Victoria has found it in her heart to adopt several handicapped pets who require lifetime physical therapy. Not only does she possess the extraordinary skills to help a cherished pet in need, but she also understands first hand the human side of that equation! Outside of work, Victoria makes sure to spend lots of time with her husband Eric,  sons Roman and Tristan, and all of her fur babies.
